Its a watch. And a phone. There really isn’t much more you can say about this straight-from-Sci-fi gadget. And from the looks of things, its not nearly as hideous as it could be. Its a shame its not a touch screen (and it doesn’t come with an optional brain implant) but this might just be our future.

I see a guy using this the other day. He couldn’t get it out of Chinese language mode, until I helped him out while I was eating dinner. After I helped him out he started using it and looked totally ridiculous - like some James Bond B Movie
Not worth it to be touch screen, unless it came with a stylus, and then it would really not be worth it.
Wow. Texting with that interface is going to be very annoying. This might be our very annoying future?
Wow, Rich - you saw somebody using this the other day? Even though it hasn’t been released yet? And no one owns one, and no one outside LG has probably even touched one, yet somehow you figured out how to change the language settings on this phone from Chinese to English? I don’t think so, fucktard.
No need for the hostilities but I have to call shenanigans too because I doubt anyone is doing public rounds with these things, let alone allowing random people to change the language settings.
And wouldn’t you think that someone who had privileges to test this would know how to operate every detail, especially language…
I think Brett the watch Rich is referring to is the 800M its out only in Asia
I would think someone wearing one of those was a weirdo.
sorry i’m wrong its the M500 or M300 heres the link

Rich is an idiot. Are we supposed to believe that a guy who had access to a phone that hasn’t been manufactured yet for the public was wearing it around but couldn’t figure out how to use it until some random guy walked up to him while he was eating dinner?
Anyway, assuming you use this w/a bluetooth headset I can see it being a cool gadget. I can’t imagine using it practically on a daily basis though.
If joe is right and Rich was looking at a M500 he is still lying because there isn’t a Asian Language on their that could be mistaken for Chinese, unless you count Arabic which really makes you an Idiot. Which also makes Joe’s Comment:”I think Brett the watch Rich is referring to is the 800M its out only in Asia” ,not make much sense? So now we got 2 idiots and/or liars, or Rich is trying to make himself not look so bad. Either way “Fucktard” sounds accurate.
Without a touch screen, don’t even bother.
I will wait for the iPhone touchscreen version

All you guys are paloma lovers.
To all the people who have been flaming the guy who said he saw one in action : Hey knowalls , I get Chinese satellite tv for my girlfriend and for some time they have been showing commercials for a chinese wrist phone that looks vaguely similar. The ads have stopped now( I haven’t seen them for a couple of weeks) but the thing looked like a monstrosity .Yuck. By the way, if you could be bothered to do a google search you will find there seem to be quite a few chinese wrist phones on the market e.g:

And heres a Korean one ( sorry about the long urls, straight from google ):

so whats the big deal about the LG ?
Wow you guys are retarded. There have been a FEW watch phones and some are Chinese. You can get one right now. The M500 from SMS Tech seems the most promising because of the touchscreen and stylus…but who knows how practical it will be. Then again, why the hell would you buy one of these if you want practical? The bluetooth headset would be totally needed.
Yeah the M500 is cool at $1000, too much for me, I found some at another site techundercover.com for a more reasonable price and I think they have the touch screen with stylus, pretty cool.
